The Void of Everything
The Void of Everything
Exploring The Creation of Everything From Nothing and the Basis of Existence
The Reason(s) for Exploring the Void

The void is a concept that transcends the fields of psychology, philosophy, metaphysics, and hard sciences. Every definition of the void differs somewhat, however, the void is generally considered to be an absence or emptiness intrinsic to phenomena. The void generally represents formlessness and that which is beyond description or ineffable. The nothingness of the void is inspirational to the Kyoto school of philosophy, which aims to unite Eastern wisdom traditions and Western philosophy in the concept of "true nothingness." My wish to explore the meaning of the void stems from a yearning to know the true essence of being and God. The multidisciplinary nature of the void means that there are many connections left to be uncovered between scientific, religious, and metaphysical understandings of the void. I hope as a Christian to illuminate how nothingness evolved into everything and the relationship between God and his creation, evaluating the concept of creation ex nihilo. I also wish to allow readers of the blog to share their experiences with void states and more deeply explore void-spaces for themselves. The void, to me, is not a negative state of non-being solely, but the very basis of being itself, and therefore most worthy of consideration.
